In addition to numerous successes and achievements in the business arena, the group has been very active on the social front too. The group leads charitable institutions like hospitals, temples, cattle sheds, water spots, and etc., which have been working for the betterment of the country, especially in the hometown of Sri Dungargarh, Rajasthan.

The group has been an active participant in numerous relief work camps in conjunction with Bharat Relief Society, Kolkata.

The spirit of social well-being flows in the entire family of the founder, and have been very actively involved with All India Maheshwari Samaj. Looking at the determination and dedication of the family, the founder has been elected as the President of All India Maheshwari Samaj.

The government of India in recognition to the spirit of social service awarded the founder Sh. Chunni Lal Somani, the prestigious Dadabhai Naroaji International Award, while the State government of UP awarded the prestigious UP Ratna. The government of India also appointed Sh. Laxmi Narayan Somani as a trustee of Calcutta Port Trust, while the State government of West Bengal appointed the president of The West Bengal Kabbaddi Association.
